Jane Hua Cole
Education Director
Jane followed her scientist parents to Athens, Georgia, after 11 years of growing up in China. In Athens, she witnessed her first squirrel, learned how to eat pizza, and most importantly met and gave her life to Jesus when she was 15. While studying Business Administration at Georgia Tech, Jane found a community who loves and continues to point her towards Christ at Journey Church. Jane spent several years working as a business consultant in the human capital field. Then after becoming a mother, she felt a call to teach children.
Through some redirects by the Holy Spirit (plus the world shutting down due to a global pandemic), God led Jane to what she didn't even realize was her dream job - children & youth ministry director. She now gets to play with children and help them learn more about God for a living, which is the coolest job in the world. Jane's biggest love language is coffee (and hugs), and you can find her on most evenings playing on the floor with her husband, Ryan, and their 3 children (James, Jonathan and Jemma).
