Amy Shin

As a young girl, Amy met the Lord at Vacation Bible School in her hometown of Longmont, Colorado. Later, during her freshman year at Emory University, she felt the Lord speaking directly to her at a weekend retreat with Journey Church. She then committed to Journey and was actively involved in the community. After graduating with a degree in business, she went on a one-year life-changing mission trip to Shanghai and returned to Georgia with a deepened heart for ministry.
Amy currently works as an analyst at CarMax and is pursuing an MBA at Georgia Tech. Her passions include hosting meals to bring people together, applying business principles to church ministry, supporting long-term overseas missionaries, and encouraging others through prayer. She and her husband Juheon (who introduced her to Journey and was also part of the Shanghai trip) married in 2014. They are the proud parents of Duley, a big friendly Great Pyrenees. In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, creating calligraphy, going to farmers markets, and rooting for the Denver Broncos.
