Deacons & Elders

Sharon is a second-generation Korean American, with parents from South Korea. Born and raised in Queens, NY, Sharon and her family made the big move to Georgia to transition to a slower-paced life. She attended church for as long as she can remember and accepted Christ at 15 years old. Since then she has experienced God working through minute or grandiose ways whether that be during her time serving at Vacation Bible School or on overseas mission trips. Sharon has been attending Journey Church since her freshman year of college--graduating from Georgia Tech with an Industrial Engineering degree.

At Journey, she enjoys serving in both the Production team and Family Group ministries. Sharon spends most of her free time exploring Atlanta or reading a good book.
